Becky and Wilf are both yoga teachers and between them they offer a wealth of knowledge and experience to their classes , workshops and retreats.
During these uncertain times we are unable to teach face to face. We miss all of our students and friends as i’m sure everyone is right now. We are offering donation based online zoom classes which will be live regularly and updated on our online yoga section. we are also working on our new Youtube channel so subscribe, enjoy and let us know what you think!
Becky has been practicing yoga for 16 years and has studied with various teachers around the world. She has gained over 700 hours of teacher training and teaches a variety of styles of yoga including vinyasa and free flow, slow/gentle flow, restorative yoga, yin yoga and yoga nidra.
Over the years Beckys’ practice and teaching of yoga has changed and shifted organically. She loves to offer her students the freedom during the practice to find space and nourishment in their bodies, hearts and minds. Becky loves to move, dance and flow and this comes across in her
vinyasa classes where she teaches purely from her heart.
Becky understands the importance of having a balanced practice, especially in this modern fast paced world and offers restorative yoga classes where students are given the space to stop, breath and be still. Each student is encouraged to let go of tension in the body, mind and breath,
to be present and to open their hearts. This has a calming effect on the nervous system which is so often stimulated in the modern world. Her Restorative classes are deeply relaxing, self loving and calming.
Becky also teaches different techniques of pranayama (breathing practice) , meditation and mindfulness.
Becky is a qualified kids and family yoga teacher and offers workshops and classes for children and families.
Becky believes that yoga is a life long journey and she continues to study and read and practice and seek out new teachers to further her knowledge for herself and as a teacher.
Wilf has been practising yoga for 7 years and teaching for 3 years.
Wilf is a knowledgeable, fun and empathetic yoga teacher. The classes he offers are strong but playful, with a focus on stepping out of your comfort zone, falling and being able to laugh at yourself.
Wilf teaches with humour and enjoys being creative with sequencing and likes to share his knowledge of anatomy through the Asana practice.
At the same time Wilf teaches with compassion and encourages students to let go of the ego and to be present in this ever moving world.
Wilf offers various styles including Hatha, Vinyasa, Ashtanga & Restorative.
As parents, we often find ourselves making a choice between our yoga practice and family life. So why not combine the 2? Expanding our practice and introducing and involving your little ones with your yoga can be on of the most rewarding and bonding things you can do. Not every time will be perfect but practising with our kids can really help to remind us that inside we are all children – playful, eager to learn and we like to challenge ourselves. On our family retreats there is time for personal practice of course, but also time to learn how to make yoga more inclusive – no matter what your age!
